I love my Dalmation Herbs & Cooking Workshops, we have loads of fun, get a little messy and everyone goes home with a full belly and an eco-friendly gift from my shop!
Covid aware, we limit our capacity to 8 people, holding the workshop in my garden area outdoors but undercover and wearing gloves.
On arrival, you will enjoy a tasting of our own Orahovica and Travarica rakijas' or you may prefer a refreshing glass of our own herbal sparkling water.
I provide you with an apron as you get "hands-on" and make Čevapčići (small skinless sausages), for those who prefer a no-meat option wander into the garden, pick your own selection of herbs for your Garden Fresh Pesto - nut and dairy-free if needed. You will also learn to make our creamy lemon polenta.
You will enjoy grilled vegetables, cabbage salad and of course lepinje (flatbread roll) accompanied by a glass or 2 of our red or white domestic wine.
Whilst you enjoy your meal, I will start preparing the dough for you to make hrostule (deep-fried pastry) and answer questions you may have.
Each person will take home a booklet with all the recipes of the food prepared on the day, it also includes information on the ingredients used.
As a thank you for attending the workshop don`t forget you will also take home a homemade eco-friendly product sample.
