Farm to Table Croatian Cooking Class

Service Description

Join us for a unique hands-on cooking experience, located in the beautiful surroundings of Župa. Our farm-to-table classes showcase the best of Croatian cuisine, using our organically grown ingredients. Adults (18+) €100 Upon arrival, you´ll be greeted with a shot of a traditional Croatian herbal rakija used for digestive purposes. Wander through our working garden, meet our free-range chickens and enjoy their eggs. During our experience, you´ll learn about the medicinal and gastronomic properties of local herbs and unique ways to use them in your cooking. You´ll also have the opportunity to make and enjoy homemade Čevapčići, small skinless sausages, as well as Garden Fresh Nut Free Pesto to be served with Zucchini Patties. Create your dessert, Hrostule, a Croatian twisted pastry. Lepinja bread, condiments and other Croatian standard accompaniments such as cabbage salad and grilled garden vegetables will be provided. This is a large snack so keep this in mind and come hungry! In addition to the hands-on cooking lesson, you'll receive: ✔ an educational e-booklet that includes local recipes and modern twists to Adriatic cooking, highlighting the benefits of the ingredients. ✔ PLUS, you'll receive a small eco-friendly gift to take home, a homemade product sample from Mikki´s Croatian Kitchen. The workshop duration is approximately 3 hours, and aprons and food preparation gloves will be available. Cancellation Policy

If you wish to make any changes to your workshop at any time after a booking confirmation has been issued, I will try, but cannot promise to meet your request. In the event that I am forced to cancel your workshop for any reason we will refund to you the full price paid by you for your workshop. TO CANCEL - If you cancel the workshop 24 or more hours in advance, your payment will be refunded in full. - If you give me less than 24 hours’ notice, the payment is deemed non-refundable, but may be credited and rescheduled once (1) upon discussion and confirmation with Mikki's Kitchen for a new date/time. TO RESCHEDULE - You can rearrange your workshop once providing you give me 24 hours’ notice. - If you give me less than 24 hours’ notice, fail to turn up to your workshop or have already rearranged one (1) workshop, you will be deemed to have taken the workshop and you will not be able to reschedule it or entitled to any compensation for missing it.
