Service Description

The Dalmatian Herbs & Cooking Workshop, open group session: Please look at the PRIVATE CLASSES available if you have children and do not wish to have them exposed to adults conversations and being around alcohol. (note: minimum booking for a class to proceed is 4 people - maximum group size is 10 people) (Interpreters and special needs assistants 50% discount if eating - free if only assisting and are not included in numbers attending) Children under the age of 7 are free but must be supervised by parents at all times. Children from 7 to 18 (25% discount) Minors under 18 will not be served alcohol. Join us at our home in Župa, where we are fortunate enough to be surrounded by abundant natural beauty. Our gardens provide us with herbs, fruits and vegetables grown without the use of chemicals or pesticides. We look forward to welcoming you with our homemade Herbal Spritz, or a healthy shot of Travarica (herbal rakija) or Orahovica (walnut rakija) for digestive purposes of course. In this Dalmatian Herbs & Cooking Workshop, you will discover local herbs and unique ways to use them for medicinal and gastronomic purposes. Enjoy locally produced domestic wines, chemical-free just as nature intended. The Dalmatian Herbs & Cooking Workshop will include: ✔ A hands-on cooking lesson making homemade Čevapčići (small skinless sausages), Garden Fresh "Pesto" to be served on Creamy Lemon Polenta - both you will make, and Kroštule/Hrostule a Croatian fried pastry you will create and cook. Lepinja bread, condiments and other croatian standards such as cabbage salad and grilled garden vegetables will be provided. This is a meal, not a snack so keep this in mind. ✔An educational e-booklet that includes local recipes and modern twists to Adriatic cooking, highlighting the benefits of the ingredients used. ✔ A small gift to take home, an eco-friendly, homemade product sample from Mikki´s Croatian Kitchen. Notes: • The Workshop is by appointment only and must be paid for online before arrival. If you prefer a time/day not listed online, I will do my best to accommodate you. Please email me directly - • Duration is approximately 3.5 hours. • Aprons and food preparation gloves will be available, but YOU MUST PROVIDE YOUR OWN MASK IF YOU FEEL THE NEED.

Cancellation Policy

If you wish to make any changes to your workshop at any time after a booking confirmation has been issued, I will try, but cannot promise to meet your request. In the event that I am forced to cancel your workshop for any reason we will refund to you the full price paid by you for your workshop. TO CANCEL - If you cancel the workshop 24 or more hours in advance, your payment will be refunded in full. - If you give me less than 24 hours’ notice, the payment is deemed non-refundable, but may be credited and rescheduled once (1) upon discussion and confirmation with Mikki's Kitchen for a new date/time. TO RESCHEDULE - You can rearrange your workshop once providing you give me 24 hours’ notice. - If you give me less than 24 hours’ notice, fail to turn up to your workshop or have already rearranged one (1) workshop, you will be deemed to have taken the workshop and you will not be able to reschedule it or entitled to any compensation for missing it.
